The Ethiopian Red Cross Society posthumously honored Meggist Menil Abetew and Amidekrose Aregaw Gebiru, volunteer ambulance drivers who tragically lost their lives while serving in conflict-affected regions.
Marie-Esther Rouffet from the Croix-Rouge Française was acknowledged for her initiative in providing psychological support to families during challenging times. Susanne Serry from the German Red Cross and Guðbjörg Sveinsdottir from the Icelandic Red Cross were recognized for their work in conflict and disaster areas.
The Italian Red Cross awarded Franca Caporali Vaglio for her contributions to public health and nursing education through numerous international deployments. In Japan, nurses like Miki Takahara and Tomoko Kusama were honored for their roles in conflict and disaster response.
Chinwe Lawrence-Uchenna from the Nigerian Red Cross Society, Åge Bøyum and Hilde Marie Nilsen from the Norwegian Red Cross, and Abdulmajeed Alanazi from the Saudi Red Crescent Authority were also among the distinguished recipients.
Shalaosri Sangiam from The Thai Red Cross Society and Larysa Kysil from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society were recognized for their work in public health and crisis management. American Red Cross awardees like Brandi Branch, Patricia Chappell, and Carlos Mendoza were commended for their roles in conflict, disaster response, and public health.
