President Droupadi Murmu has approved Gallantry awards to 93 Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces personnel, including 11 posthumous, on the eve of the 76th Republic Day. The awards consist of two Kirti Chakras, 14 Shaurya Chakras, one Bar to Sena Medal (Gallantry), 66 Sena Medals, two Nao Sena Medals, and eight Vayu Sena Medals.
Additionally, the President has approved 305 defence decorations to Armed Forces and other personnel, including Param Vishisht Seva Medals, Uttam Yudh Seva Medals, Ati Vishisht Seva Medals, Yudh Seva Medals, and more. These decorations recognize exceptional service and devotion to duty among the recipients.
The list of awardees includes individuals from various services, such as the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Among the recipients are Major Manjit from the Punjab Regiment, Naik Dilwar Khan from the Artillery, and Captain Deepak Singh from the Signals regiment, among others.
