Dr. Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Masahito Goto, former Director General of Air Systems at the Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Agency (ATLA), was awarded the UAE Military Medal of the First Class by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. The medal was presented by Shihab Al Faheem, UAE Ambassador to Japan, during a reception at the UAE Embassy in Tokyo. Major General Staff Pilot Ibrahim Al Alawi, Air Force and Air Defense Commander, was also present at the ceremony. Dr. Goto expressed his gratitude for the honor and praised the progress in bilateral relations between the UAE and Japan.
